Melinda Beck is an illustrator, animator, and graphic designer based in her hometown of New York City. She briefly left New York to attend the Rhode Island School of Design, where she graduated summa cum laude, in graphic design. Over her quarter century in the business she has had the pleasure of working for such clients as: Neiman Marcus, Nickelodeon, Nike, Real Simple magazine, Supreme, The New Yorker, The New York Times, Random House, Target, and Time Magazine. Melinda has received numerous awards including two Emmy nominations and a gold medal from the Society of Illustrators. A series of her prints was acquired by the Library of Congress for their permanent collection. Melinda served as the vice president of ICON9, the Illustration Conference, has taught at Parsons School of design, and been a visiting lecturer at a variety of institutions around the globe.
